Abortion has risks, whatever the research says
perspective: neutral
20 Aug 2008

It's probably true to say that there is no such thing as entirely objective, unloaded research on abortion. Each successive academic study (and there have been quite a few) about whether abortion carries risks to the women who have them is instantly seized on by people seeking to tighten the law or trying to liberalise it. Value-free abortion research may be a nice idea, but there's no such thing as value-free researchers, however good their methodology.

|
A bizarre battle has erupted over the arrest on child pornography charges of a man at a California public library, with library and county officials siding against the staffer who called police to arrest the alleged criminal.
Librarian Brenda Biesterfeld was fired from her job after disregarding her supervisor's orders not to call police.

Call Girls: Lawyer Salary to Nothing
perspective: anti-family
14 Mar 2008

I don't know which is more surprising: That caped crusader Eliot Spitzer allegedly had sex with a call girl, or that he paid her $4,300.
If you haven't been in the market for a prostitute lately, that might sound like a lot of money. But it's pretty typical for a high-priced call girl in a big city.
...
"I see women at 40 who had some (success) and now are working in hard-core, very violent pornography for $5 an hour because they wasted the prime of their life," she says.

Real-life case of demon possession documented
perspective: pro-family
13 Mar 2008
|
An American woman who levitated, demonstrated paranormal psychic powers and spoke foreign languages unknown to her was clearly demon possessed, according to a board-certified psychiatrist and associate professor of clinical psychiatry at New York Medical College.
The unnamed woman, with a long history of involvement with Satanic groups, was observed by a team of priests, deacons, several lay assistants, psychiatrists, nuns, some of whom also had medical and psychiatric training, levitating six inches off the ground while objects flew off shelves in the same room, according to Dr. Richard E. Gallagher, who documented the case in the February issue of the New Oxford Review.

'Demonic' grunts, barks confront prayer warriors
perspective: pro-family
24 Jan 2008
|
A new video posted by the Catholic-based Gloria TV has documented the "demonic" behavior of pro-abortion activists who grunt, bark and shriek in the faces of pro-life prayer warriors in Vienna.
With jaws slack, eyes glazed, tongues hanging out and fingers arched, the abortion activists are in the pay of prominent Vienna abortionist Christian Fiala, according to the video report, which describes the individuals as "a paid attack troop" set in motion to "harass and humiliate the pro-lifers."

Spanish TV Shows Horrors of Abortion
perspective: pro-family
14 Dec 2007
|
For what is probably the first time in history, a television network in Spain has shown an abortion on national television.
The video, shot during a hidden-camera exposé on Spain's abortion industry, shows a nurse injecting deadly poison into the fetus through the vagina of a pregnant woman, who then expels her dead child, about five months old. The doctor immediately covers the body.

District teams with church for 'gay' event

See our complaint on the Resources Page.
A number of school-sponsored clubs are holding a World AIDS Day "event" at a California church that will be opened with "remarks" from Rev. Benita Ramsey (board member of Rainbow Pride Youth Alliance) and 'pastor,' but school officials are denying it is in any way school sponsored or religious, even though the same "event" a year ago included a "prayer" meeting and the MVUSD website is openly advertising the event as a Murrieta Valley High School event.
